Relax in the rustic luxury and enjoy the views from your Sunset Mountain Cabin. The Sunset Cabin Rental is built right on the side of the mountain which gives height to the deck, and lets you see out above the tops of the trees to that fabulous panorama, mountain after mountain, folding in on each other in the distance.

From the living, kitchen and dining area two sets of sliding glass doors lead onto the expansive deck. Whether you are cooking, eating, playing games or talking, the view comes right inside.

There are two bedrooms, side by side in the back of the cabin. Each bedroom has one queen size bed. Each bed is topped with 2 inches of memory foam and a high loft mattress cover on top of that. Soft, comfortable sheets and lots of silky blankets and throws and matelassé quilts make for a cozy, comfortable rest during your cabin getaway. The cabin has one bath, with a tub and shower.

The Sunset Cabin can comfortably accommodate 4 adult guests. However, with the double recliner couch, extra guests will feel right at home. ($15 per night per adult over 4 adults in a cabin.)

The kitchen comes equipped with everything you need for at-home cooking; Stove, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Microwave, full-sized Coffeemaker, Toaster, Pots and Pans, Dishes, utensils, and silverware.

Outside, there is a hooded charcoal grill perfect for cookouts and a fire pit for relaxing evening outside fires and taste tempting s’mores.

We supply sheets, towels, firewood, fire starters, and toilet paper. Bring your own charcoal, lighter, paper goods for the kitchen, and food.

That’s it! I’m not leaving. I’ve decided to make this my new reality. Peace and quiet, clean air, beautiful surroundings, a billion stars at night, birds instead of boom boxes.

Saw many woodpeckers, rabbits, a fox, turkey and squirrels, also several deer on two occasions AND a large black bear ambling across a dirt road not far from our cabin rental!
